The Numazu fish market is one of the most renowned in Shizuoka.
Early in the morning you can visit the fish auction, while if you just want to taste the delicate fish dishes, the restaurants are open until 8pm.
In addition to numerous sushi variations, you can enjoy the famous tuna tail stew, a renowned dish created by the imagination of Numazu fishermen.
