NAKA-IZU WASABI ROUTE
Wasabi is an important element in the Japanese diet and needs a lot of pure water to be cultivated. The Izu Peninsula is world famous for wasabi production.
In particular, the wasabi produced in the picturesque Naka-lzu area is prized for its intense yet delicate flavour.
This route takes you through Izu’s beautiful countryside and wasabi production area, including a visit to the enchanting Banjo waterfalls.
The route includes several ups and downs, but is suitable for everyone.
