A NEW KONA CYCLE SPOT IN IZU, SHIZUOKA
Japan has been chosen as the host country for the 25th edition of the summer Deaflympics. Thousands of athletes and volunteers from all over the world will come to Japan from 15 to 26 November 2025 to participate in the games. All cycling competitions will be held in Izu, Shizuoka.
Due to the large turnout of athletes and staff, we recommend that you book hotels and rental bikes well in advance.

What are the Deaflympics
The Deaflympics (official name: World Games for the Deaf) are an international multi-sport event for deaf athletes. They are held every four years, alternating between summer and winter games.
The goal of the Deaflympics is to provide deaf athletes with the opportunity to compete at an elite level and to promote awareness and understanding of deaf culture and issues.
